Some flowers bloom after dark. Alternate Fridays, so does Kikyo. A residency held by Cliff Coffin on the alternate Fridays, in a design-led downtown room. The room is small; places are asked for, not sold.
It opens quiet.
It does not stay that way.
One resident, one shape, the alternate Fridays. The night grows out of Kikyo's room rather than restarting it, from a room-warm open to a cinematic, relentless close.
The bloom
Progressive house.
The turn
Trance.
Full dark
Elegiac progressive trance-techno.
Cliff Coffin.
Elegiac progressive trance-techno: cold machine below, a human signal above. The catalogue is public: Spotify, Bandcamp, the artist site. At Kikyo he holds the alternate Fridays and builds it the same way each time, so the night has one shape instead of five.

- 02Sync Primitive, the constantThe production home behind the night. The venue and guest rotate; Sync Primitive is the thing you belong to and return for.
- 03One room, alternate FridaysSame night, same time, same sound. The fortnight in between is the point: it stays a night rather than becoming a fixture. You learn the room by coming back to it; the list only grows.
The room is small.
Ask for a place.
Sixty advance places, then the door. You request a place; a place is held, not bought. Confirmation comes back to you, not before. The list is invitation-weighted: places are held for the people the night is built around, and for the ones they bring.
Come in on the list.
The Bloom List closes Thursday, 6 August.
No walk-in is promised. Kikyo runs the door and holds the final say on entry; the list is the way in, and the smart one.
Bring your people. Every place carries a personal invite; the ones you bring arrive on the list before the public.
What the list gets and the door cannot: a seat before the room fills, a table held to 10:30, the off-menu serve, the bottle price, and being met at the door by name.
Come on the list.
Or hold the room.
The list is the way in, and the smart one. A table is the other way: pre-held before the room fills, settled through Kikyo against a minimum spend on the night, for a group who want a base and the seat for the drop.
No ladder. Advance places are held for the room the night is built around; past them, Kikyo holds the door on the night. You are on the list, or you meet it at the door. Tables sit outside the list and are arranged through Kikyo.
Everything you
